The Path We Follow
Kung fu is a way of exercising that restores life balance by teaching the body to listen, and hear the purpose of its own creation. Through deep, intentional breathing, we learn to remain centered amid the rush of daily life. With each breath, we release anxiety, find stillness, and briefly reconnect with our true selves.
This “active meditation” method is a way of applying kung fu teachings to everyday life. It helps us to stay on a balanced path, or The Middle Way as it is known in Ch’an Buddhism. By following these physical and meditative practices, we can reawaken the spirit to unlock our true potential.
Struggle and Emerge
We train the body with deliberate intention to reset every imbalance, and reclaim what has been forgotten. With every purposeful push and pull against resistance, every stretch, and every explosive movement, we weave threads between mind and body. With each purposeful breath linked with motion, we awaken the quiet corners of the soul and invite the dormant vitality to rise and fuel the spirit. More than just a workout, this methodology of motion links mind, body, and spirit to restore harmony.
Cultivate the Vital Force
When the body and mind are aligned, the true meditative journey begins. We climb the mountain inside of us, spiraling through layers of the self. Each breath lifts us, and every struggle teaches us the sacred truth - that we are always returning home, circling back to the centre, to our renewed selves.
Succeed With Others
We are deeply inspired by the teachings of Grandmaster Olaf Emil Simon - kung fu master, Canadian entrepreneur, poet, philosopher, and author. As part of his lineage, we continue to cultivate a community where people can succeed alongside others, and not over others.
Truth
If you know about truth,
tell me of it.
If not, I shall search with you, together,
in order to find it.
